The Purasa dialyzers series is designed for safe and efficient high-flux dialysis treatments. Our innovative dialyzer technology facilitates remarkable enhancements to the removal of uremic toxins. The Polyethersulfone (PES) fiber membrane technology forms a three-layer sponge-like mechanism with pores 5-7.5 nm in diameter. Such innovation has attracted the attention of the medical community as it provides better permeability of toxins while preventing the removal of essential blood components.

POLYETHERSULFONE (PES) MEMBRANE

Developed through an advanced fiber spinning process, polyethersulfone (PES) membranes are heat resistant, flame resistant, pressure-resistant, and corrosion resistant. This technology allows for good biocompatibility, strong endotoxin absorption, and a high solute removal rate. 

Each Purasa dialyzer is equipped with a sophisticated membrane architecture compacted in three layers to form a 30-35 μm thick wall. The film hole forming technology helps to adjust the charge near the micropores of the membrane producing a certain degree of “point repulsion” to the protein in the blood. 

Moreover, the PES membrane helps prevent protein from clogging the micropores during the dialysis process.
